SINOPSIS En el verano del año 2000, conocí al legendario clarinetista de jazz Tony Scott, en su piso de Roma. Se trataba del primer contacto para un proyecto documental que pensaba producir: la historia del jazzman enamorado de sus amigos Billie Holiday y Charlie Parker. Pero también la de un pionero absoluto de la música new age y la fusión de sonidos globales. No logramos producir la película, pero esta entrevista conserva el retrato de un hombre lleno de historias y amor por el jazz.
SYNOPSIS In the summer of 2000, I met the legendary jazz clarinetist Tony Scott at his apartment in Rome. It was the first contact for a documentary project that he planned to produce: the story of the jazzman in love with his friends Billie Holiday and Charlie Parker. But also that of an absolute pioneer of new age music and the fusion of global sounds. We didn’t manage to produce the film, but this interview preserves the portrait of a man full of stories and love for jazz.
